Evening, all. A few thoughts on some sports happenings...
1.) Tim Thomas. Good riddance to you! You've been shopped around so much in you career, you have no concept of team loyalty. The Arizona Republic (lousy as they are sometimes) says you're off to play with the Clippers for a more lucrative deal. LUCRATIVE?! Is $5.4 million really SO lucrative in comparison to $5 million? While it's exciting that the Clips did so well this year, they've still got a bit of building to do - Phoenix will have NINE contract players back next season...you know who those heavy hitters are: Nash, Marion, Barbosa, Bell, Stoudemire, Diaw, and may I remind you of the other Thomas, as in Kurt. That's what a championship team looks like, Tim. Too bad you'll miss out. I rooted so hard for you because of your outstanding performance in the playoffs, but your attitude, ego, and now your price tag have gotten in the way. Best of luck in the future.
2.) I predict the "azzurri" of Italy will win the World Cup. That's right. If Brazil managed to lose to France, then Italy can upset Germany and either France or Portugal. Clearly, I'm biased because of my Italian heritage (thanks, Mom) and the fact that I served my mission there, but that's my prediction and I'm stickin' to it.

Yeah, goodbye to him. Phoenix doesn't need him.
Thanks to you, I actually care about the Phoenix Suns. :)
