Just killin' time...

While I could be studying Mass Communication Law or doing my Albanian homework, I am sitting here, typing aimlessly with my t-shirt pulled over my head like Beavis doing Cornholio.

This past weekend was nice. I went to St. Johns for some graduations. My little cousin Britni graduated from 8th grade, even though she already looks like she's 17. But after all the family and friends that have graduated, I'm kind of glad it's all over. I ended up going to 12 graduations, and you all know how pleasant that can be. I got to see a lot of family, and also be let in on the fact that my being a Mormon is a frequent topic of conversation among my oh-so-Catholic family counterparts. Britni is my little informant, and she tells me that everyone knows that the reason I'm treated different is because I'm a Mormon. Oh well...nothing's going to change that.

I got to visit with my friend Kyle and his new girlfriend, Jessica. Kyle's mom is convinced she's the one. I also went and had a good visit with Heather's parents and sister, Camille. If you want to know the details, e-mail or call me...I'm not putting anything to do with Heather on here.

I came back for summer school, and after just two days, I can say that I think I'm truly going to like both of these classes. For how cool the Critical Languages Institute is, I figured more people from ASU would take part in it, but I'm the only one in my class. The others go to Tufts, Penn, Hofstra, CUNY, UC Berkeley, Univ. of Minnesota, and Univ. of Michigan. I feel like a fish out of water in my own pond. But I like them, and it's exposing me to new things.

I also had a good chat with Dr. Wilkinson, and informed her that I'm planning on graduating next year. I feel that even with an extra year on my scholarship, I would be wasting my time. I'll be ready to move on in a year.

Well, I think I'll hit the sack and wake up at the crack of dawn and study then. Seemed to help this morning. Naten e mire...mirupafshim...
