Demise of Summer 2004
You knew it would come. The time of year when you finally realize that you must become something inane again rather than basking in the frivolous days of nothing that we call summer.
Actually, I didn't really do that, but I wanted to give it a try.
So, here we are again in August - the most miserable month of the year. Blistering hot days, the knowledge of school starting soon, and the month of my mother's birthday and endless chants of "I hate birthdays!" wafting through the air. I am actually starting to get excited to start grad school, considering I never thought I would. Hopefully, in two or three years, after I get my MPA I'll want to keep going so I never have to pay off my student loans. Granted, it would only be $9,000 for two degrees earned at ASU, but freak...who wants to pay bills?
I'll keep this short for now and try to publish more often. I suck, I know. Don't you dare rub it in.
Late.
