This past weekend was, by far, filled with too many miles driven. It was fun, but after every long stretch came an equally long-lasting headeache. Holli and I headed up to her hometown of Overton, Nevada Thursday night just in time for us to hit the sack. Friday we got to see her little sis' Alexis (we call her Dooz) run at her track meet in Boulder City, and then Saturday, Holli and I made a day trip into Utah.
A very long day trip.
We woke up at 5 a.m. to start our drive. We were late leaving (in typical Holli and John fashion) but managed to get to Holl's grandparents house in Scipio on time. We then went on to American Fork to see our friends Logan and Karen get married in the Mt. Timpanogos LDS Temple. It was really nice because Holli and I were able to listen to what the sealer said to them. When we went through for our sealing, I don't think either one of us were able to concentrate enough...we were so nervous.
I wish I had more to report for today...but I'm just not full of anything good to say, except that I had a pretty good weekend, and a dang good time with my wife and family, so I should be grateful for something...
...and I am.
