Milestones

I wish to recognize some of my friends and family...I don't think I do that enough. Here are some of the great things going on in their lives...

:: Friends Nadia and Spencer were married in the San Diego Temple on April 22. Congrats guys – I wish you all the best, and I truly wish I could have been there!

:: Steve celebrated his 25th birthday today. If I remember correctly, so do the Pember twins who we went to school with in SJ, so happy birthday to you too…if you ever see this.

:: Sister-in-law Cassidy and new brother-in-law James will be married this weekend, April 29, in the Las Vegas Temple. This might embarrass them, but you can see some of their cool pics here.

:: Tara is getting her law degree on May 12th. Congratulate her – she’s going to be a bang-up attorney. And when I’m governor of this state, she’ll be a top staffer (if she accepts). I would need people like her. And likewise, when she’s governor, I would hope she taps me for something.

:: Jay is up for all sorts of jobs and fellowships in Long Beach, Phoenix, maybe Chandler and some other places too. He’s not going to be able to make graduation because of his important Phoenix stuff, but he’s a fellow MPA classmate worthy of some recognition, so congratulate him if you get the chance.

:: Babies galore, people. Sister-in-law Hillari and brother-in-law Keith are getting a new baby boy in July. On top of that (and I apologize that I don’t know all of the dates), my friends Kimberly and Emmett are also due in July, Logan and Karen are expecting Grace soon, and Jay and Shauntel are expecting as well – if I’m missing anybody, let me know!
