Sometimes, all I feel like is another brick in the wall.
Today is a strange day. It's a Thursday, which means I would usually go to class tonight, but class is over. In fact, my grade for the class is already posted, and I couldn't be happier with the grade (thanks, Ron). But I'm kind of sad that I don't get to go to class anymore. I'm taking calculus this summer, but it's online - and even if it wasn't, the cameraderie that exists in the MPA program would be absent. So, even though graduation is coming next week, I'm sad to leave the program.
Maybe I'll actually do some work today and post more later...
Melancholy.

When is graduation? Is it public atendance or is there a cap of the audience based on the number of graduates? Congratulations on getting through your MPA!! I am truly proud of you!

May 11 - a Thursday - at 5 p.m. in Gammage Auditorium. Unfortunately I've already given my tickets away, but there's a chance you could still get in at the door if you wanted to try. But don't worry about...graduations are boring anyway!
Although graduations are boring and dry, it wil give me the chance to the return the favor you did for me when I walked across that stage three years ago. :o)

Would youlike me to try and get a ticket?
Oh, and I guess the Dean might actually mention me in her speech. I won't know until the night before or something like that...
See what you can do but you don't have to make it a top priority. Don't worry too much about it. I will make up and show my gratitude in some other fashion. :)
Also, WAY TO GO in being mentioned in the Dean's speech that night!! Very honorable recognition.

Well, I don't know if it's a for sure thing. I was contacted about it and gave my consent. I was also named the 2005-2006 MPA Outstanding Scholar-Citizen, but really...many other of my classmates probably deserved it more than me...
no john. no one deserved it more.
I dunno, Jay. There are some quality students in our program. For example...you!
it was scholar-citizen, though. i may be a scholar but am no citizen.
