It resides in my stomach. I've been so stressed out by one thing or another today, and it doesn't seem to go away. Eventually, I think I'll stress out to the point of nausea (almost there) and the only way to rid myself of it will be...well, you know.
And, on top of that, it won't lighten up as my wife has pointed out all of the stuff we have to do this week.
I got a letter from a state senator today. In the closure it said, "I have had the great fortune to meet so many wonderful people. You are counted among them and it has been a pleasure to know you." I know it's a form letter, but still...made my day.
I had lunch with my 84-year-old grandfather today. I wish there were more people in the world like him. Then again, it may have taken all 84 of those years for him to get that way, but I admire him nevertheless. He's a Chinese food fanatic so I took him to Sing High Chop Suey House in Dowtown Phoenix. We talked about a ton of things from materialism during the holidays to Mitt Romney and illegal immigration. My grandfather isn't LDS, but ever since I joined the church, he's always been very friendly to people and ideas associated with the church. I can tell you one thing: he sure likes Mitt Romney. I'm glad we've reached the point in our relationship where we can exchange our thoughts freely with each other. I wouldn't have thought someone 58 years older than me would respect my eclectic views on life as much as he does...but who knows, maybe he thinks they're entertaining.
Well, I'd better get back to work. I had a mental blackout a while back and figured that this might help bring back all 11 tasks I need to complete in the next two hours.
Ciao.

This time of year is so crazy. I know it sounds insane but enjoy it. Someday you will want this time back.
