My wife tagged me...so I have to do this. Maybe it'll be fun. Plus, she made me macaroni and cheese tonight, so I'll do it for her...
Four Jobs I Have Had in My Life:
1) Newspaper reporter/columnist – I actually did this twice. In middle and high school for The Apache County Observer, and in college for The State Press.
2) Pharmacy Assistant – One of the many high school gigs. I don't think I was actually allowed to count pills out and bottle them, but the boss told me to. And when this boss told you to do something, he meant it.
3) Student Involvement Specialist - I did this before and after my mission at the ASU Sun Devil Involvement Center. I helped students "get involved." We were affectionately known as "hubbies."
4) Telemarketer – Dial America will forever haunt my dreams.
Four Movies I Watch Over and Over:
1) What about Bob? – My wife mentioned this one too. But it's true. Almost anytime we can't decide on a movie, it's Bob. And we NEVER get tired of it.
2) Napoleon Dynamite – "This is starting to look pretty good. You can say that again..."
3) Pee-wee's Big Adventure – I am NOT kidding. Seriously this is one of my all time favorites. "Everybody's got a big 'but.' Let's talk about your big 'but,' Simone."
4) Caro Diario – I love this movie so much. It's an Italian one by Nanni Moretti. If you can actually find it, I would highly recommend it. Jennifer Beals (Flashdance) even makes a cameo apperance! Be forwarned that you have to enjoy a little randomness and spontaneity...that's why I love it!
Four Places I've Lived:
1) St. Johns, AZ – I was raised here - about 14 years. I consider it my "hometown" but I haven't been back since September of '04.
2) Jackson Hole, WY – For a little while when I was very young. My dad worked for a contractor and we moved around a bit before settling in number 1.
3) Bassano del Grappa, Firenze (Florence), La Spezia, Siena and Pistoia, Italy – LDS Mission.
4) Tirana, Albania – I spent some thime there as a student at Universiteti i Tiranes and got a certificate in Albanian. Kam harruar te gjithe shqipe... :(
Four TV shows you love to watch:
Like my wife, I don’t love TV much, but if I had to choose...
1) Saved by the Bell – By far the best, cleanest, funnest teen show ever made. I have the first two seasons on DVD.
2) The Real World – It's really lacking in it's old age, but once upon a time I liked it. Paris and San Diego were the best seasons in my opinion.
3) Saturday Night Live – Most of the comics I love have been on this show. It's just a staple for me.
4) The West Wing/Commander in Chief – It's really a tie for me. I know it's on two networks and all, but since WW is over soon, I think CiC will take over. What do you expect from a political wonk?
Four Websites you visit daily:
1) AZCentral.com
2) my.asu.edu
3) My wife's blog
4) And lately the Office of Personnel Management to see if I made it as a frickin' Presidential Management Fellowship finalist or not.
Four of My Favorite Foods:
1) Farinata – A flat, chick pea "patty" that was served with pizza when I lived in La Spezia.
2) Hummus – Another shared one with Holli.
3) Cheese – Yeah, just cheese. I especially like mozzarella, parmigiano reggiano, provolone, edamer, cheddar and swiss.
4) Spaghetti alla carbonara – Spaghetti with olive oil, one egg, panna cream and chunks of pancetta. The recipe can vary by region, but I love it.
Four Places I'd rather be right now:
1) Anywhere with my wife.
2) Italy
3) At the University of Delaware, Syracuse, or Georgia Tech getting my PhD.
4) San Diego
Four folks to pass this on to:
1) Jay, because I'm really interested to see his responses.
2) Matt Schuh, because I'm a bad friend and I want to regain communication with him.
3) Amy, because I know she'll do it.
4) Kimbo, so she'll start a blog for me to read!
Enjoy! I look forward to reading the responses!

john, i almost went to the university of delaware for the MPA but i obviously didn't.
Well, Jay, I'd be willing to grant you a waiver...except my system is down and you'll have to mail the form in.
And I'm glad you didn't go to UDel...life in the ASU MPA program would have lacked chutzpah without you.
