Sweating in January

On the whole, it's actually quite chilly outside, but given the fact that I walk between several buildings several times a day, there's good reason for this.

The legislative session starts this coming Monday, and it's already getting pretty hectic around the capitol. Then again, that's what makes my job fun. I seriously think I bounced back and forth between the House and Senate 17 times today (I really did try to keep track).

One of my colleagues has been on vacation for a while, and I'm amazed I survived without her. But, we're still looking forward to her coming back! We need her...

Our intern started yesterday, and she's doing great. I'm glad she was there with me today collecting signatures for bills and meeting with a host of legislators, state officials, and of course a horde of lobbyists.

It's definitely going to be an interesting and fun session!!

Nice posts lately John, keep em coming. Hope you and Holli have a wonderful year, mine is already turning out to be quite eventful and we are only three days in... a good sign I guess?

I just took a walk outside, and now I'M sweating in January. And I'm always cold, so you KNOW it's warm out there.

Who needs Washington DC politics when you have the AZ Legislature? I miss it sometimes.
