Well, I've got to start out by saying that I am amazed anyone reads this!! Actually, I know for a fact that my wife does, but you know what I mean. I have gotten some comments over the past few weeks that actually prove that people read blogs (even my piddly little spew of random thoughts). Being the recovering journalism/PR student that I was in college, most of my professors decried blogs because they thought they devalued the intrinsic essence of journalism.
Ha. Well, maybe.
But my stance is, if you think you can write, get some practice and keep trying -- if you KNOW you can write, then blog the heck out of cyberspace. I'm not putting my journalism degree to use otherwise, so why not? Especially since I'm now in grad school learning to be a professional bureaucrat and after having spent five and a half months of searching for a job in this hell hole called Phoenix, I've pretty much resigned myself to doing whatever the heck I want.
How's that for cynicism?
