My classes started this week, and I'm in the armpit of my program. I'm taking Public Budgeting and Finance and Public Service Research II - which have proven to be a thick, black quagmire of confusion, along with Public Labor Relations as an intensive class. Come December, I'll only have six credits left, and then in May I will finally be awarded my sparkling Master of Public Administration. And maybe, I'll never go to school again...but I doubt it. While I'm not trying to achieve world dominance, I am trying to make it a better place - so if an MPA eventually makes me a professional bureaucrat (which I hope it doesn't, then I'm sure I'll find my way back.
Just not here.

I am still without a job, however, things are looking really good. I have some potential employers announcing jobs left and right, and I DO have at least one interview, so yay for me.
If you've read Mrs. Ronk's page at all, surely she's mentioned that my mother was in a horrible car accident last month. It almost tore her left arm off, but they managed to reconstruct it with two rods and about fifteen screws. She's now had five surguries on it (three of which were skin grafting procedures), and is making some progress with it. It looks quite disgusting, but the doctor says it's beautiful. In any case, her spirits are high, and hopefully she's done with hospital visits!
That's about it for now. I'm tired, and I still have to cram some Harry Potter reading in with all my other stuff. I have homework again. CRAP. Oh well.
Until next time - bidets rule!
